Radiation Oncology Specialist

At UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in the Radiation Oncology department.
About the Role:Under the administrative direction of the Radiation Oncology Operations Supervisor and the clinical direction of the Radiation Oncologist, the Radiation Therapist will provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by physician according to established standards and practice.
Responsibilities:- Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by physician
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in radiation therapy
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Member in good standing of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Currently licensed or licensure eligible as a Radiation Therapist in the State of Vermont
- 1 year experience in a Radiation Therapy clinic required
