Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Making beds and folding terry
  • Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens to the highest standards
  • Removing trash, dirty linen, and room service items
  • Checking that all appliances are present and working in the room
  • Straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • Dusting, polishing, and removing marks from walls and furnishings
  • Vacuuming carpets and performing floor care duties
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior housekeeping experience, preferably in a resort or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina to perform the demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
