Key Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Senior IT Systems Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining a wide array of IT equipment within the facility. As a vital technical resource, the analyst will manage the setup and repair of end-user infrastructure and address desktop incidents reported by users. This role requires advanced technical support across various domains. Any issues beyond the analyst's scope will be escalated promptly to senior support staff. The analyst will also participate in 24/7 on-call support with other team members.
The Senior IT Systems Analyst will adhere to HCA IT policies and suggest improvements for the implementation and support of IT equipment. The analyst will assist in project planning and provide on-site support as necessary.
Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing and supporting a wide range of IT equipment, including network devices, servers, personal computers, and related software.
- Providing advanced technical support and performing preventative maintenance.
- Logging and tracking incidents and requests, ensuring timely communication with senior resources.
- Conducting hardware investigations and minor repairs.
- Leading technical project implementations and coordinating infrastructure needs.
- Participating in meetings and educational opportunities to enhance performance.
- Training users on technology best practices.
- Mentoring junior technical staff.
- Collaborating with division and corporate IT personnel to meet standards.
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding patient and employee information.
- Adhering to the organization's Code of Conduct and Mission & Value Statement.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Broad knowledge of technology and solutions.
- Strong resource management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to multitask and possess strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Capability to provide on-site support for projects.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance, if applicable.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of relevant technical experience is required.
Certifications
- Basic certification in Cisco or Microsoft products is highly desirable.
