Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will conduct all established nuclear medicine procedures. You will perform necessary calibrations and quality checks, documenting results in appropriate logs while adhering to radiation safety protocols and universal precautions at all times.
You will be responsible for ordering, preparing, and storing radiopharmaceuticals; administering intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by a physician, as well as administering radioisotopes parenterally when legally permissible.
Engage with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies program/plan. Process raw data and review studies for accurate positioning and overall quality.
Carry out decontamination procedures and maintain security of all "hot" and "decay" areas. You will also participate in on-call duties and/or work variable shifts to meet departmental needs.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine licensure.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
- No Travel Required.
