Job Title: Nuclear Forensics Analyst

At ANSER, we are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Forensics Analyst to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Nuclear Matters (NM). This role requires a strong background in nuclear forensics, with experience in developing concepts of operation and supporting government exercises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of new concepts of operation (CONOPs) for the National Technical Nuclear Forensics (NTNF) Ground Collection Task Force (GCTF) mission.
  • Collaborate with interagency partners, including the Department of Energy, Department of State, the FBI, and the Intelligence Community, to integrate DoD's capabilities into a coherent US government capability.
  • Engage with DoD service components and Combatant Commands to support NTNF mission execution.
  • Review documents, contribute to studies or task forces, prepare papers and briefings, and attend/participate in meetings within/across the Department, across the interagency, and other branches of government and/or with academia and industry.
Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and seven years direct experience related to nuclear forensics or CBRN technical expertise.
  • Experience with DoD exercises and the development of DoD Concepts of Operation.
  • Experience staffing or advising DoD senior leaders on matters of national security.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related discipline.
  • Direct in-depth knowledge and experience with NTNF GCTF and CBRN operations, organization, functions, and planning with Interagency partners and at the COCOM level.
  • Experience engaging with international partners and agencies, including negotiations.
