Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to provide oversight, support, and consultation for technical engineering, design, analysis, and/or nuclear safety related work. The ideal candidate will establish and evaluate the implementation of the quality assurance program, communicate quality information and trends, and contribute to a broad cross-section of product lines.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and evaluate the implementation of the quality assurance program
  • Communicate quality information and trends
  • Contribute to a broad cross-section of product lines
  • Interface with all parts of the technical and support communities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 9 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 7 years of relevant experience
  • Currently or previously Shift Supervisor Part II qualified
  • Qualified SIT and 3 years EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program
  • Currently or previously CRE qualified
  • 6 years as SRE
  • SRE qualified and 9 years of experience
Preferred Skills
  • Experience performing assessments, inspections, evaluations or audits of procedures or processes against requirements

Pay Range

$103, $161,100.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

About the Naval Nuclear Laboratory
