Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Operational Excellence Analyst II to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting a federal client's organizational and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will conduct thorough audits of billing, inventory, and security processes to ensure accurate data and value delivery. Additionally, the Analyst will analyze SLA and performance metrics to foster continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analyses and validate service pricing in alignment with the established customer service catalog, ensuring clarity and relevance.
  • Collaborate with chargeback teams to devise appropriate service cost allocations for various customer agencies.
  • Perform audits on service quotes and invoices to confirm correct definitions and pricing, establishing benchmarking processes to guarantee optimal value for clients.
  • Assist in pricing analyses for optional services within contracts versus external alternatives.
  • Engage in quality monitoring activities, including invoice reconciliation, budget forecasting, and demand planning.
  • Exhibit flexibility and a willingness to learn across different business areas, providing support as needed.
  • Navigate and comprehend Government systems, facilitating item setup, reporting, performance metric reviews, trend identification, and procedural improvement recommendations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client contacts to enhance communication and partnership.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process enhancement and collaborate with the organization to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensure that critical performance indicators are met for each account while surpassing customer service expectations.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in technology and telecommunications pricing and costing.
  • Familiarity with government contracts and regulations.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and mathematical proficiency.
  • Experience with internal and external audits.

Additionally, candidates should meet the following general requirements within three months:

  1. Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
  2. Exceptional customer service abilities.
  3. Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  4. Ability to convey technical subject matter expertise effectively.
  5. Knowledge of ITIL v4 foundation principles.
  6. Capability to provide feedback on service operation models and practices.
Other Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain an MBI Public Trust Clearance.
  • Experience in pricing audits and process execution.
  • Understanding of acquisition and contracting processes.
  • 5+ years of federal experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Federal and USDA telecom policies is a plus.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership courage, and integrity.
  • Self-starter with the ability to recognize needs and act independently.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related fields.

Additional Information:
This position is fully remote with minimal travel requirements. Candidates must be able to pass a federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
