We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Private Equity and Real Assets Fund Services team at State Street Corporation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the general ledger for various fund entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare supporting work papers for financial statements, portfolio schedules, and capital account allocations, providing detailed analysis and insights.
- Prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Analytically review monthly and quarterly investment and fund performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Review and/or prepare capital calls, distributions, and bank reconciliations, ensuring seamless financial operations.
- Prepare management, annual, and incentive fee calculations, providing accurate and timely financial information.
- Prepare various client correspondences, maintaining excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Calculate waterfalls and capital account allocations, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Participate in special projects as requested, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Fund accounting or public accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and industry standards.
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- Experience leading verbal and written communications at senior levels with internal and external clients, showcasing excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently to meet client deliverables.
State Street Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 - $75,400 Annual, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
