Role Overview...

The Residential Care Program Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Program Director with the daily management of the program. This includes the implementation of agency policies and ensuring adherence to the statutory obligations set forth by the DDS.

The compensation for this role is set at $20.00 per hour, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours each week.

Your Impact...

  • Delivering personal care and support to individuals in alignment with their physical requirements and established support plans.
  • Enforcing the policies, practices, and procedures of the Residential Program, safeguarding the rights, freedoms, and confidentiality of residents while overseeing their medical, nutritional, and general well-being.
  • Supervising the health, nutritional standards, educational needs, and overall welfare of residents. Engaging in the creation and periodic review of Individual Service Plans in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the evaluation and selection of individuals for program admission, alongside the Program Director and Program Coordinator, as well as participating in the recruitment and interviewing process for staff positions.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • *MAP Certification is mandatory*
  • A High School diploma is essential; a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Previous managerial or supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in supporting adults with developmental disabilities is required, coupled with a strong commitment to advocacy for our individuals.
  • A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Successful candidates must undergo a background check, including references, CORI, and fingerprinting.
