Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patient/provider schedules and ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Provide exceptional patient experience through personalized interactions and timely communication.
  • Manage patient registration, verify insurance information, and collect co-pays and payments as required.
  • Prepare welcome packets and register patient data through our electronic medical record system.
  • Answer and screen telephone calls, take messages, and provide information to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Sort and deliver mail to the Office Manager and prepare daily batches for the business office.
  • Prepare requested daily statistical information and notify the Office Manager of any potential issues.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
  • Two years of experience in a medical office setting; bilingual in Armenian/English required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
