Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare reimbursement documentation, expenditure summaries, and payment requests in line with contractual and funding source stipulations.
  • Notify the Senior Director of Finance regarding any potential issues, delays, ineligible expenses, or financial concerns.
Accounts Payable
  • Evaluate and authorize Purchase Orders.
  • Conduct reconciliations of Accounts Payable general ledger accounts.
Budget Management
  • Support the monthly variance analysis and engage with Program Directors to implement necessary actions.
  • Assist in the creation of fiscal and budget reports as mandated by funding sources, including year-end and annual reports.
  • Offer budgetary recommendations to program directors based on permissible expenses and spending patterns.
Financial Reporting
  • Maintain and regularly update the subsidiary ledgers associated with the program's funding contracts.
  • Assist in the preparation for the annual audit process.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, and conferences as required by the funding source or the organization.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and requirements essential for fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
  • This position typically involves sedentary work but may require extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and some light lifting. Standard safety precautions are necessary, and local travel may be required.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is essential, although additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
