Job Overview:

The role of the Buyer/Planner is crucial in ensuring that materials are procured efficiently to support production demands while enhancing procurement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and acquire essential materials for operational continuity
  • Develop and maintain supplier partnerships to ensure quality and timely deliveries
  • Conduct regular assessments of supplies to ensure quality standards and adequate stock levels
  • Compile and present reports related to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and scheduling
  • Review purchase requisitions and oversee inventory management
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely processing
  • Continuously enhance job knowledge and fulfill related responsibilities
  • Execute tasks to align with customer and production objectives
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems is advantageous
  • Previous experience in procurement or a similar capacity
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and apply best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities
