Position Overview:
The primary role of a Project Engineer involves supporting Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and other team members in the management, scheduling, and procurement processes for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to and promote Crowder's safety protocols; identify and rectify safety violations on-site.
2. Strategically plan work and procure materials with safety as a priority.
3. Assist the Project Manager with daily operational tasks.
4. Facilitate the procurement, approval, and timely delivery of materials to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Prepare and monitor all necessary project submittals.
6. Secure required material certifications.
7. Aid in the preparation of material billing.
8. Order essential materials and supplies.
9. Maintain organized project files, updated drawings, and production records.
10. Support the documentation and records preparation for change orders.
11. Assist in evaluating costs for additional work.
12. Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate overall project activities, including subcontractor management.
13. Approve incoming invoices.
14. Enhance cash flow management.
15. Foster positive relationships with subcontractors.
16. Identify and pursue fair compensation for changes in project scope.

Qualifications:
- A four-year degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience (minimum of 5 years).
- Proficient in software applications such as AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Primavera Project Planner, and COINS.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, and estimating.
- Ability to draft subcontractor scopes of work.
- Familiarity with pricing, purchasing, and generating purchase orders for materials and equipment.
- Capability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
