Job Summary

The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary plays a vital role in supporting patients, families, and professional staff to ensure efficient and customer-oriented service delivery. This role actively incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model, prioritizing dignity, respect, information sharing, participation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial support to patients and families, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Support the Registered Nurse in delivering patient care, adhering to the PFCC model.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Support the mission, vision, values, and aspirational goals of WakeMed.
Requirements
  • 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; College courses in Nurse Aide required.
  • Nurse Aide I certification required.
Work Schedule

7:00 am - 7:00 pm, 3 days a week.

Additional Information

This role requires every other weekend and does not involve call shifts.
