Job Summary
The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary plays a vital role in supporting patients, families, and professional staff to ensure efficient and customer-oriented service delivery. This role actively incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Dignity and Respect: Listen to and honor patient and family perspectives and choices.
- Information Sharing: Communicate and share complete and unbiased information with patients and families in ways that are affirming and useful.
- Participation: Patients and families are encouraged and supported in participating in care and decision-making at the level they choose.
- Collaboration: Patients, families, and the Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary collaborate in the delivery of care.
Requirements
- Experience: 1 Year Healthcare Experience Preferred
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Or College Courses Nurse Aide Required
- Licensure/Certification: Nurse Aide I Required
- Work Schedule: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, 3 days a week
- Weekend Schedule: Every Other Weekend
- Call Schedule: No Call Required
