Audiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled audiologist to provide diagnostic audiological and vestibular services to patients with hearing disorders or balance disturbances.

Key Responsibilities:- Diagnostic Audiology: Conduct thorough evaluations, select, fit, and dispense hearing devices, and teach patients how to use and care for them.
- Patient Counseling: Provide guidance on test results, recommend suitable treatment options, and support family members affected by hearing and balance disorders.
- Hearing Aid Repairs: Troubleshoot internal hearing aid repairs and process external repairs with manufacturers, ensuring accurate documentation for billing purposes.
- Staff Support: Collaborate with department heads to interview and select new staff, orient new employees to hospital policies, and provide input on performance evaluations.
- Master's degree in Audiology
- Licensure as an Audiologist in Maryland or District of Columbia within 90 days
- Certification by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- 2+ years of experience in progressively responsible roles
