AWS In-Memory Database Specialist Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled In-Memory Database Specialist Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the voice of the customer and bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
- Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
- Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
- Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
- Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
- 7+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.
- 5+ years of experience in In-memory data architectures.
- 5+ years of technical experience in NoSQL Database and OpenSource technologies.
- History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
