Contracts Specialist, Business and Legal Affairs

Netflix is a global entertainment company that produces and distributes original content to over 190 countries. Our Live Experiences team is responsible for creating immersive experiences based on our popular shows and movies, such as Stranger Things: The Experience and the Bridgerton Queen's Ball.
The RoleWe are seeking a talented Contracts Specialist to join our Live Experiences team. As a Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing contract templates, reviewing and synthesizing data points from agreements, and collaborating with our Global Compliance team to ensure compliance checks and licensee vetting.
Responsibilities- Prepare contract templates for various agreements, including service/vendor agreements, statement of work, license agreements, schedules, and authorization letters.
- Review and synthesize data points from Live Experiences agreements into our CPX tracking systems and database.
- Collaborate with Finance/Accounting to resolve payment or reporting issues.
- Perform rights research and review of creative materials to identify clearance or talent issues.
- Partner with Operations and other Contracts Coordinators and Specialists to identify operational efficiencies or system improvements.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a coordinator, contract specialist/manager, or paralegal, ideally in the areas of licensing, vendor agreements, and/or entertainment transactions.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail, capability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility and initiative to tackle matters outside of expertise and solve problems in a business-friendly, solutions-oriented manner.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Flexibility to work across various projects and cross-functional teams.
- Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Airtable, DocuSign, Google Suite, and similar programs.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary, with a range of $70,000 - $350,000. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options.
