Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Account Manager to join our team at Chemical Strategies, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our aerospace and semiconductor clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Management and Fulfillment: Accurately and promptly process customer orders, covering all aspects of order management and fulfillment, including entering orders, working with internal teams, communicating with customers, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain sustainable and collaborative relationships with customers through open, knowledgeable, and interactive communication, ensuring continued customer trust and loyalty.
  • Data Management: Work with the sales team and customers to safeguard the integrity of customer data, creating visibility across internal teams, encouraging usability by all parties, and reducing errors resulting from bad or incorrect data.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Utilize strong listening, speaking, and decision-making skills to resolve customer complaints and issues, referring service failures to designated departments for investigation.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work proactively and productively with teammates to resolve issues for the customer, representing the customer's account team and being held accountable for the overall customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or 2+ years of experience in customer service, customer success, or a similar discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with a background in chemical distribution being a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, Chempax, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for collaboration.
