Job Description

The Medical Support Liaison will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to Community Care Physicians' patients. Key responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, processing incoming calls and messages, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient flow.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, family members, and healthcare providers.
    • Foster strong interpersonal relationships with patients, staff, and external customers.
  • Administrative Support
    • Process incoming calls and messages according to office policy and procedure.
    • Schedule appointments and follow-up appointments as directed by providers.
    • Organize and monitor provider schedules to ensure timely patient flow.
  • Insurance and Billing
    • Verify patient insurance coverage and demographic information at each visit.
    • Update patient information as necessary.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion
    • Maintain the strictest confidentiality and discretion when handling patient information.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education and Experience
    • High school graduate or equivalent required.
    • Previous clerical experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
