Risk Management Support Associate

Ancora Risk is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to clients, answering their questions about insurance policies and coverage issues, and ensuring that all inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:- Client Support: Answer incoming calls from clients regarding their insurance policies and coverage issues.
- Policy Modifications: Process client policy modifications accurately and efficiently.
- Verification and Proof of Coverage: Verify customers' coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork.
- Follow-up and Communication: Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies.
- Marketing Efforts: Stay up-to-date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available.
- Issue Resolution: Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved.
- Degree and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and previous customer service experience required.
- Insurance Knowledge: Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Licensure: Active NY insurance license.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,000-$72,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Ancora Risk offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
