Job Summary:

This position is responsible for coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects under the supervision of the Sales Manager and indirect supervision from an assigned Project Manager(s).

The Project Coordinator will ensure effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and project team members, including external customers and vendors.

Key responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager with managing internal department relationships, collaborating with the Purchasing Department, and coordinating installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering or a related field, 3-5 years of industry experience, and strong organizational and time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Manager with managing internal department relationships
  • Collaborate with Purchasing Department regarding scope, price, submittals, and delivery for purchased items
  • Coordinate installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders
  • Manage job progress onsite, including leveraging design expertise to solve emergent operational and installation challenges
  • Oversee and/or process daily administrative items per Project Manager's direction
  • Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and on budget
  • Escalate potential problems and assist Project Manager in driving solutions to complete resolution
  • Maintain, develop, and grow viable relationships with customers, prime contractors, trade partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and trade personnel

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of industry experience

Hours:

This is a non-exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 6:00am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Travel:

As required from time to and from the assigned office location to regional branch offices and/or to project/customer site(s).
