Key Responsibilities:

As the primary liaison for inquiries from employees, retirees, and their families, the Employee Relations Center Specialist is tasked with ensuring high-quality service and prompt resolution of concerns. This role involves:

  • Responding to requests for information and assistance.
  • Taking appropriate actions to resolve, refer, or escalate issues in line with company policies.
  • Maintaining accountability for service quality and timeliness.

Note: This position requires in-office attendance once a month for administrative tasks such as reviewing mail and scanning documents.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma is essential; a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPP, CEBS, PHR) is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, ideally within a human resources contact center.

  • Fundamental understanding of Human Resources practices and services.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and take responsibility for decisions affecting individuals and service quality.
  • Proficient in managing interpersonal conflicts and challenges in a constructive, solution-focused manner.
