This role involves providing advanced data and analytical support to our health system. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and managing databases that promote efficient workflows and comply with regulatory specifications.

Supporting data-driven performance improvement projects within the health system.

Preparing reports and Tableau dashboards, and presenting findings to system leaders and teams.

Managing data-driven projects and assisting in identifying critical issues and developing solutions using PDCA and Lean methodologies.

Collaborating effectively as part of a team while ensuring maximum utilization of technology to enhance work systems.

We're an internationally recognized health system featuring multiple award-winning hospitals and over 270 community clinics across Southern California. We're associated with leading medical research and clinical education programs.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in statistics, business, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative analysis field, or equivalent experience.

Advanced skills in Python, Tableau, SQL, R, Excel, SPSS, and PowerPoint.

At least 2 years of experience in clinical data analytics, statistics, and quality measures.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Project management skills.

Excellent understanding of industry-specific issues, regulatory requirements, and current trends in the healthcare industry.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and creative environment.

Capability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to meet departmental goals.

Strong prioritization skills and attention to detail.

Experience leading complex system-wide projects.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED

MBA or Master's degree in quantitative analytical fields.

Over 3 years of experience with Python, SQL, and Tableau.

More than 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

At least 1 year of experience in data science (AI/ML), data management, and analysis.

Over 1 year of project management experience.
