About the Role:
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our ServiceNow platform. The Data Remediation Specialist will focus exclusively on data remediation efforts within ServiceNow, meticulously identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and inaccuracies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing ServiceNow data to identify and rectify inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors across various tables and fields.
- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure data accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Enhance existing data by researching and integrating missing information from reliable sources to improve data completeness.
- Assist with data migration projects, ensuring data integrity during the transfer process and validating data after migration.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data remediation activities, including identified issues, corrective actions taken, and validation results. Regularly report on the progress of data remediation efforts to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a data-focused role with a strong emphasis on data cleansing, validation, and remediation. Hands-on experience working with ServiceNow, specifically in identifying and resolving data quality issues. Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices. Proficiency in using data manipulation tools and techniques, including data import/export, data transformation, and scripting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
