Position Title: Advertising Sales Manager

Role Summary

In the capacity of Advertising Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Associate Director of Sales. Your primary focus will be on driving sales for AIChE's advertising and recruitment services. This includes promoting various advertising channels such as newsletters, web and retargeted ads, CEP Magazine, sponsored webinars, whitepapers, job board postings, and recruitment advertisements for events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by securing sales for AIChE's advertising offerings.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing advertisers.
  • Identify and explore new market segments for advertising potential.
  • Innovate and create new advertising products to enhance revenue streams.
  • Coordinate the delivery of advertisements in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Work closely with colleagues to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Proactively seek new advertising prospects while maintaining relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Enhance revenue from recruitment initiatives.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Associate Director of Sales.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in media sales.
  • Strong skills in research, cold calling, and closing sales.
  • Experience in both print and digital advertising sales is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate sales leads and engage with key decision-makers.
  • Exceptional organizational and client relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Strong skills in proposal writing.
  • Goal-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.

Note: This position is remote but will require occasional travel to the New York office following the initial training period.

Compensation - Full-Time - $75,000 - $120,000 (Base salary of $65,000 plus commission).
