Job Position:

The Senior Content Developer for the Graph Analysis Mapping Application (GAMA) team plays a pivotal role in the upkeep and enhancement of a desktop application designed for the swift ingestion, analysis, and utilization of extensive and intricate relational datasets. This position emphasizes link analysis, social network analysis, communication analysis, and 3D graph visualization. The individual will provide comprehensive end-user support, conduct dataset evaluations, manage development tasks, troubleshoot issues, oversee version updates, and enhance APIs. Strong software development skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of the Graph Analysis Mapping Application (GAMA) desktop software.
  • Efficiently ingest, analyze, and utilize large, complex relational datasets through various analytical methods.
  • Deliver end-user support, addressing software-related inquiries and offering expert guidance.
  • Conduct thorough dataset evaluations, manage development tasks, troubleshoot errors, and facilitate version updates and API enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical designs and solutions.
  • Lead project teams, providing direction, assigning tasks, and monitoring the performance of software developers.
  • Assist in project scheduling and coordination, and participate in the design phase of projects.
  • Work closely with clients and technical teams to resolve software issues and implement suggestions for enhancements.
  • Contribute to the creation of user manuals for software applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of seven to nine years of experience in software development or similar roles.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in software development, with proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the business applications of the Graph Analysis Mapping Application (GAMA).
  • Experience with link analysis, social network analysis, communication analysis, and 3D graph visualization techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with dataset evaluation, development, error resolution, version upgrades, and API enhancements.
  • Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in software development or related fields are highly desirable.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current/active Top Secret clearance.
