Job Summary:

Quantum Research International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing system-level concepts that provide solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop system-level concepts that provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Develop and maintain system-level requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure system-level concepts are implemented correctly.
  • Lead reviews and adjudicate comments made against system-level concepts.
  • Utilize model-based system engineering (MBSE) approaches to develop system-level concepts.

Requirements:

  • US Citizen and a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
  • 3-7 years of progressively complex experience in system engineering or related experience.
  • Experience in two or more of the following areas: tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, hardware, requirement decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages.
  • Strong technical background in system engineering principles.
  • Ability to acquire or possess (as well as maintain) a US Secret security clearance, with possibilities of working at higher classification levels.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in support of DoD programs, especially in an Army Air and Missile Defense program.
  • Hands-on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe Agile experience.
