Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Development Manager to join our team at Southwest Human Development Inc. As a leader in the field of early childhood development, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families.

About the Role

The Child Development Manager will provide support and oversee teaching staff in the planning and implementation of our programs. Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing the implementation and monitoring the delivery of high-quality service and teacher practice.
  • Ensuring that services meet department and program requirements, are comprehensive, and delivered within established timelines.
  • Demonstrating sensitivity to linguistic, cultural, social, economic, individual, and role differences among persons and families served.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a lead preschool role and supervision experience.
  • Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Bilingual Education services.


Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $68,000 - $78,000 per year, based on experience, as well as benefits including zero contribution health plan options, 401K plan, wellness programming, and generous paid time off. Salary: $74,000 (estimated)

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $74,000, based on industry standards and the level of experience required. This salary may vary depending on individual circumstances.
