Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Intern to join our team at Christian Family Care Agency. This is an unpaid internship opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in early childhood development.

Job Description:

Company Overview: As a leading provider of childcare services, we prioritize creating a nurturing environment that fosters spiritual, academic, and social growth in children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is $30,000 - $40,000, depending on location and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in implementing a curriculum focused on Social/Emotional skills and Literacy.
  • Encourage children's development through positive interactions and activities.
  • Assist with daily needs of children, adhering to center policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and/or Coordinator to address any difficulties experienced by children.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the Learning Center.

Requirements:

  • A level one fingerprint clearance card.
  • A negative TB test result.
  • The ability to pass a DCS Background Check.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Agreement with the CFC Statement of Faith.
  • The capacity to spend extended periods outdoors, lift at least 35 pounds, and engage in physical activities such as crouching, bending, sitting on the floor, and standing.
