Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant I to join our Family Medicine department at our Holladay location.
This is a full-time position that requires a candidate who is willing to be cross-trained as a Patient Service Representative (PSR) during Flu season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care including telephone triage, insurance authorizations, recording of vital signs, administration of immunizations, phlebotomy, and maintenance of exam rooms and filing.
- Work closely with physicians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate courteously and effectively to patients.
- Typing / keyboarding skills, 40 wpm.
- Basic arithmetic, computer, and analytical skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and multi-task oriented.
- Enjoy working with people, being a team player, and willing to help others with tasks.
- Must be able to read, communicate, and write well in English.
- Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with Physicians, clinic staff, and patients.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- 1 year Medical Office experience preferred.
