Job Overview

Position Summary

As a HVAC Service Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various sectors. Your role will involve the use of specialized tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fabricating, bending, and soldering tubing assemblies
  • Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and operational procedures
  • Adhering to work instructions and production guidelines to maintain quality standards
  • Setting up and operating machinery according to specifications provided by supervisors
  • Conducting in-process and final inspections to verify compliance with specifications

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation or repair
  • Experience with copper tube soldering is essential
  • Strong mechanical skills are necessary
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is required
  • Physical capability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities are required
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities is essential
  • Electrical knowledge and experience are preferred
