Accounts Receivable Specialist with Legendary Service Experience

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate payment of accounts. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts, verifying and posting receipts, and resolving discrepancies. You will also be responsible for providing customer service regarding collection challenges, working closely with team members to create revenue-generating strategies, and establishing effective working relationships with stakeholders.
This role requires a strong customer-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and a positive and professional attitude. You will be working in a fast-paced goal-oriented department, and your ability to solve problems quickly and create resolutions that bring in revenue will be essential to the team's success.
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a strong background in Credit and Accounts Receivable. You should have knowledge of Credit, Collections, and Accounts Receivable principles, practices, and protocols. Knowledge of lien laws and bond rights in the states of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho is preferred. You should also have a strong understanding of the building industry and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
The successful candidate will have 2 years of previous experience in Credit and Accounts Receivable and will be able to type 40+ WPM. You should be able to operate a personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary for the job. Ability to speak, write, and read English is required, and you should be able to work in an office environment.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for contacting customers regarding payment of overdue invoices, obtaining customer payment commitments, and forecasting monthly collections. You will also assist in conducting credit investigations, establishing credit limits and blocks, and posting customer payments.
We offer a competitive salary of $24-$32 per hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes 2 weeks of vacation per year, paid sick days, 7 holidays, and medical, dental, and vision coverage. We also offer tuition reimbursement, annual profit sharing, and a 401(k) plan with a 3% profit share contribution.
