Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patient Services Specialist to join our Gastroenterology team at The Oregon Clinic. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate and timely registration and billing
  • Make outbound calls to patients and providers to confirm appointments and communicate important information
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the front office team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of medical front office experience, preferably in a gastroenterology setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and providers
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
