We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Administrator to join our team at Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation (TAES) in West Allis, WI.
Key Responsibilities- Support OEM parts order to sales execution activities, providing regular assistance to Project Coordinators and Parts Project Managers.
- Actively support the generation of quotes for OEM part sales, leveraging product knowledge and pricing strategies to optimize part sales opportunities.
- Support order fulfillment processes, including expediting orders when necessary, and maintain clear communication regarding delivery status updates to all stakeholders.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through effective support and communication.
- Collaborate with various departments to engage in service and repair discussions, providing valuable insights to support parts quotes and project execution.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the team's success through collaborative problem-solving and innovation.
- Travel to customer sites to acquire practical experience with the disassembly, maintenance, and reinstallation processes of OEM parts in Toshiba Steam Turbine Generators.
- High school graduate or equivalent/Associates degree in business or technical field preferred.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude desired.
- General knowledge of machining, materials, and manufacturing processes preferred.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts for quoting, margins, and related reports (Microsoft Excel).
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in verbal and written communication to stakeholders, including customer relationships.
- Strong organizational skills in a multi-tasking environment are essential.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external contacts, along with maintaining solid customer relationships, is crucial for success in this position.
The majority of this work takes place in an office and the work environment is that of a typical office environment in a manufacturing setting where noise levels are usually moderate.
Frequently the employee will interact with personnel in the plant where he/she may be exposed to higher noise levels.
