We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Medical Services of America. Based in Lexington, SC, this is a full-time opportunity that comes with competitive pay and an attractive benefits package.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for submitting and re-billing claims, tracking reasons for unpaid claims, and filing electronic and written appeal requests. You will also work closely with locations to resolve any issues that may affect billing.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Submit claims for all pay sources and locations as assigned.
  • Track reasons for unpaid claims and re-bill claims as necessary.
  • File electronic and/or written appeal requests in a timely manner.
  • Update ADR spreadsheet and notify locations of new ADR's.
  • Collaborate with locations to resolve any issues that may impact billing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Previous hospice reimbursement experience is preferred.
  • Medical office billing/collection experience is also preferred.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
