New Hampshire Catholic Charities, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Grants Manager to oversee and implement our grant program, securing funds for various social service programs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Vice President of Philanthropy to establish budgets, priorities, and timelines for grant proposals.
- Devote approximately 60% of time to grant writing, 20% to building relationships with grantors and foundations, and 20% to team coordination and supervision.
- Work with the grants team to coordinate grant proposals and requests to support various social service programs and departments.
- Conduct research on grant opportunities, matching them with suitable programs and needs, and manage grant research memberships and online resources.
- Develop internal relationships with program directors, key staff, and managers to ensure effective grant implementation.
- Establish relationships with staff at key foundations and grant-making organizations to secure funding.
- Work with program leadership to identify needs that can be supported with grants.
- Track grant status, including input and update of funder information and grant requests in CRM software.
- Collaborate with program administrative staff to coordinate timely and accurate grant reporting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a relevant field, with three or more years of experience in non-profit grant writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn complex database systems, preferably Raiser's Edge.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage people, processes, deadlines, and budget.
