Job Summary

McGuireWoods LLP is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior SharePoint Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and executing SharePoint system design changes, updates, and other initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement SharePoint system design changes, updates, and other initiatives.
  • Update sites, manage permissions, assess and resolve issues, and prepare and maintain related technical documentation.
  • Provide direct support and training to SharePoint users.
  • Contribute to the daily workflow and planning, development, installation, integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of the firm's SharePoint farm and other web applications.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint security, permissions, and access controls to ensure proper content access and availability.
  • Maintain SharePoint infrastructure and security on development, staging, and production server farms.
  • Design and document application and/or system lifecycles to include installation, configurations, and standard operating, monitoring, and system restoration procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to IT and end-users as appropriate.
  • Help maintain architectural and lifecycle documentation of software and related systems.
  • Consult with management, stakeholders, and program managers to identify, develop, and implement development and integration process improvements.
  • Participate in IT enterprise-wide standards and policy development.
  • Create and develop system documentation related to system design diagrams, process design, deployment, system security, high availability/disaster recovery, and roll-out/roll-back planning.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience on various system implementation projects focusing on Collaboration and Content Management Implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, and Active Directory.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and integration.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 10.x.
  • Considerable knowledge of capabilities of information technology software, hardware, and network communication technology.
  • Considerable knowledge of effective processes, methods, and techniques to support business operations.
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis requires a comprehensive understanding of hardware/software systems solutions.
