Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the sales team with processing orders, quotes, and invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate sales associate or manager.
  • Coordinate communication between the sales team and customers, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and update CRM databases to ensure seamless sales operations.
  • Prepare sales reports, presentations, and materials for meetings and sales calls.
  • Investigate and resolve order and inventory problems, as well as promotional pricing discrepancies.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain organized records of sales activities, including customer interactions, leads, and contracts.
  • Prepare backup paperwork and purchase orders for incoming supply shipments for accounts receivable.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (some college or business school preferred)
  • Prior experience in a sales support or administrative role is a plus
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
