Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and apply tax knowledge to individual returns (e.g., 1099) and less complex business returns (e.g., 1120).
  • Prepare a completed and organized tax file, including appropriate supporting documentation for the tax return.
  • Exhibit an understanding of tax laws, regulations, and authorities.
  • Anticipate problems and issues, and communicate effectively with clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of GAAP and other accounting-related topics.
  • Ability to work extended hours during the busy season.
