Respiratory Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Porter Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and performing respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic regimes for patients. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic regimes for patients
- Perform respiratory care procedures, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy
- Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an AMA-approved program for Respiratory Care
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Vermont
- Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within one year of hire date
