Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care to patients of all ages and populations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Perform duties as assigned or delegated by other clinical support staff within the office.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, clinical and office policies, and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to one year of experience in a medical setting with certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training and/or experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to medical situations.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to eight hours/day, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patients in arising from exam tables, push wheelchair patients, and assist patients in arising from and returning to wheelchairs.
