The Recruiting Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the recruitment process for our field transportation operations. This position collaborates closely with hiring managers, candidates, and the HR team to meet recruitment goals by sourcing, assessing, and onboarding talent. Additionally, the coordinator will guide hiring managers on compliance and best practices in recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for various roles. Work with managers to identify necessary skills and competencies for open positions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, hiring managers, and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor in talent acquisition.
- Provide coaching to hiring managers on effective recruitment and selection methods while ensuring adherence to employment regulations.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, utilizing various channels such as referrals, job postings, networking, and job fairs.
- Conduct candidate screenings through phone and in-person interviews, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure the completion of pre-hire and onboarding tasks, including communication and training for new hires.
- Monitor candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure timely and accurate information submission.
- Support HRIS systems to maintain data integrity and functionality for recruitment and applicant tracking.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, regularly reviewing policies and practices.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the role's responsibilities.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources or Recruiting.
- Ability to navigate sensitive and confidential situations with discretion.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Friendly demeanor with a professional presence.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals at all levels.
