Job Opportunity

smartdept. inc. is seeking a skilled Localization Operations Project Manager to join our team. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive hourly rate of $32-$35 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will report to the Localization Manager within the Marketing Division and be responsible for internal operational procedures required to complete and deliver translation projects in five additional languages. This includes prioritization, scheduling, file analysis, task assignments, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage translation project creation through delivery, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Collaborate with internal localization team staff, internal clients, and external LSPs and agencies.
  • Utilize Publishing Software(s) to streamline project management.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Translation Management Systems, Translation Memory, Terminology, and Machine Translation (preferably RWS WorldServer and Studio Pro).
  • 2+ years of experience in a localization project management services position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Localization, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
