About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Irvine Company Apartment Communities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our luxury apartment communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote positive resident interactions and provide a high-quality experience
  • Fulfill resident service requests, unit turns, and preventative maintenance work
  • Ensure community common areas and grounds are maintained according to Company standards
  • Maintain inventory of parts and appliances, and conduct general maintenance
  • Complete preventive maintenance on the property and required systems and equipment
  • Perform Porter functions as necessary
  • Ensure completion of safety training and actively investigate and mitigate risks
Requirements
  • Valid California driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • On-call required for after-hours emergencies
  • Regular, consistent, and timely attendance is required
  • Ability to move in and out of a variety of positions, including sitting, standing, walking, squatting, stair and ladder climbing, kneeling, belly crawling, overhead reaching, lifting, and carrying
  • Ability to push and pull up to 118 pounds of force
  • Ability to lift below waist up to 77 pounds and above waist 45 lbs
  • Must complete and pass the pulmonary exam and respirator fit test

Compensation

Base Pay Start Rate: $25.95/hr

Service Technician in Training Start Rate: $22.95/hr

The Company also offers competitive benefits for full-time employees, including paid time off, matching 401(k), and health benefits.
