About the Role

Solventum is seeking a skilled Mechanic Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and components, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, and web handling systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, basic machining, pipefitting, and millwright tasks, as well as welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Install and upgrade equipment and maintain pumps.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic equipment and components.
  • Operate a personal computer, including loading and removing programs, creating and modifying spreadsheets, and using databases for historical trending and word processing.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; four years of mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work a first, second, or third shift, depending on shift availability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or electronics disciplines.
  • Knowledge and skills of mechanical and electrical concepts at a level required to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and devices.
  • Experience with maintenance, systems, technician, electro-mechanical, or mechanic roles.
