Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Swanberg Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction sites in North and South Dakota. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with project teams, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Oversee and work with subcontractors to ensure they are performing quality work in the budgeted time.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance with staff and subcontractors and complete safety reviews while on site.
  • Communicate effectively with project foremen and all personnel on site to ensure work is assigned as appropriate.
  • Maintain positive relationships with engineers and other trades on site through effective communication.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the commercial, industrial, and/or municipal construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
