Our client is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to join their team. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, distribute, and track RFIs (Requests for Information) to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
  • Distribute and track construction bulletins, RFPs (Requests for Proposal), or other change documentation to ensure that all parties are aware of any changes or updates to the project.
  • Post addenda or other changes to plans and specifications to ensure that all stakeholders are aware of any changes or updates to the project.
  • In collaboration with a Superintendent, create and update detailed project schedules, and keep project stakeholders informed throughout all construction phases as work progresses.
  • Manage closeout activities, including the distribution and tracking of punch lists, change orders, contracts, permits, and owner-occupancy details.
  • Facilitate effective project meetings, prepare and distribute agendas and meeting notes, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
  • Proactively manage procurement logs and submittal processes to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are procured and delivered on time.
  • Review shop drawings and samples to ensure that they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Schedule, prepare, and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, permits, and approvals to ensure that all necessary documentation is in place and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience managing multifamily residential projects.
  • Broad knowledge of building systems and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, industry partners, and clients.
  • Strong financial management skills and the ability to independently manage all aspects of a project from start to finish.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to work with a team, as well as independently.
