Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Structures Superintendent to join our team at ASN Constructors. As a key member of our utility construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of projects in a safe and timely manner, while ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project plans, including safety action plans, to ensure successful project execution.
    • Review and ensure compliance with project documentation, plans, and specifications.
  • Crew Management and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of field crews and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Take responsibility for crew performance, including safety audits and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • 5 years of experience as a pipe foreman and 5 years as a superintendent in civil utility construction.
    • Highly knowledgeable in all aspects of underground utilities (water, storm, and sewer).
    • Experience in managing crews of 10 or more employees.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to read and understand project-specific documents, including schedules, plans, and specifications.
    • Ability to oversee the work of others and clearly communicate instructions to crew.
    • Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, with minimal to moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises. The ability to wear and work in personnel protective equipment is required.
