Job Summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to serve our community.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and reassess patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the hospital's commitment to excellence in patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification, with ACLS preferred.
  • IV Certified or obtained within 6 months, highly preferred.
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting, preferred.
